A simple change of a pot or basket can add a fresh look. You may wish to group several orchids together, adding other plants or greenery. A clear-glass dish-garden with colored rock or marbles adds a seasonal touch, and your orchids sitting just above the water line will help increase humidity around the plants (be sure the pots are never touching the water).

If you need to match orchids to your holiday decorating, they may be enhanced with flower paint, and tend to last just as long. You might also wish to add cut orchid sprays in water vials to an arrangement for fullness, or to display orchid flowers which are not currently in their blooming season.
